The Audi one's a little bold I'll say. Is your car made out of cardboard or what? All I could think of was how innovatively and smoothly they animated it, and the transition from cardboard to actual car was cool too. But message-wise if you wanna squeeze something positive out...... well I suppose you can say Audi works out of the box. Or that it's green. This obviously isn't going very well haha.

The JW one is much deeper. Very typical of their ads, and nothing wrong too. They aren't appealing to everyone on the street after all. To be brutally honest - doesn't matter if 80% of their intended market don't understand the meaning behind the ad. Because they don't get it, they will simplify it as "ooh JW for sophisticated people who make conscious choices", and who'd rather be a simple character floating where the waves go? JW scores.

Dude
To me- Both the ads are good. Production wise- excellent production value and use of special effects.
One is 'attitude'- with having the power to choose- though at some level- is it trying to say that which path you choose does not matter- it is HOW you choose it (the vehicle) that matters? I mean if you do not have the closing line, it might be ambiguos.

On the other hand- the Audi one has a light touch.I like the scene where the character opens the rear view. Too cool.It looks like they are saying- look what we made out of an ordinary box.
