Talk about Steve Jobs and probably the first image that comes to your mind is him claiming a stage in his trademark black turtleneck and blue jeans, talking about some uber cool stuff from Apple. Saw this classic video recently (via techcrunch) where Steve Jobs is seen delivering his first big demo- 25 years ago! Prompted me to quickly put together some more videos. Most likeable laptops for the new year- part 2

Following from a previous post, I used a simple yet cool collaborative online tool to discuss the likeability index of laptops. Public’s perception of those laptops- and whether they hinge on the dark side or pleasantly positive. Whatever the results, it is clear that all the brands have to work on addressing crowd perceptions. Rational decisions and price points do work- but engaging communities can be crucial as well- when it comes to making that complex buying decision in the Fast Moving Technology Goods market

Mr “Bombastic” Bean in PC vs Mac ad- GermFeed

This was too hilarious to skip. Someone remixed the Mac-PC ads- meant to be the original GermFeed-replacing Mr Bean instead of the PC guy (originally spoofing Bill Gates). Beyond the ‘funny’ part of seeing Mr Bean dancing to Mr lova’ lova’ and going all shaggadelic, to me, this has more meaning beyond the juvenile thrill

The iphone has taken Asia by the proverbial storm- in Singapore , in India and is still sustaining the hype in China inspite of unofficial iphones by hundreds¬† of thousands (along with duplicate “Hi phone” versions ) but something’s in the air that hints- there might soon be audience fatigue around the product.
