- Original content. Real Opinions. Not just reports and sharing of links. We analyze- dissect and philosophize. Whatever little we might have it, we try and make use of the unique brain that god hath bestowed upon us
What it is not
- Lipstick, powder, boyfriends/girlfriends, escapades about trips to shopping malls or nuances of the functionality of latest laptop cooling pads. Please. I understand these are life hampering issues to some- but let me just say I am not competent enough to understand them.
Okay… so how do I describe it so the Marketing and agency types could understand?
This is an Ideazine. Not just a blog, neither just a resource with tutorials like “5 ways to clean your windows registry”.Think of it as a magazine. Not the shiny glossy paper one featuring red mini skirts, naughty eyes and tips on being a tiger in bed. Neither the heavy duty stuff that only Stephen Covey would understand.
It covers memes, achievements, ideas and good (sometimes heated) conversation.
Across spheres like- start ups, business, marketing, digital media, entrepreneurship, pop culture, books, events, trends et al.
I do not pose to know everything. Or weave a solution. I am hungry myself. And know what it feels to be hungry. We all feed each other here. And the meal course is fresh, varied and full of vitamins.
It is an anthology. Of conversations- that attempt to get beyond the ordinary. Of opinions and opinion leaders. Of those who take a different path. Of Storm Chasers.

Urm…how about site statistics? The metrics and numbers? And WHO is chasing the storm?
Both questions in this one simple answer: We do not have millions of general readers. Just a handful of storm chasers- but those who shape the thinking of others. People who chase an idea and make it happen- the entrepreneurs who are now small but will someday change the rules of the game. People working 9 to 9- but raring to do something big…at some stage of their lives. Bloggers- whose word spreads like fire on tequila at the bar table. Real Marketers- whose quest for ideas and memes is forever unsatiated. ‘Grown up’ folks- who just like a good read- and spread it amongst their own likes. And then sometimes like wildfire. The game changers. And then there is YOU. Who are you? Ask yourself- and then let me know if you are any different. I’ll add to the list.
CTS, however, has about 1500 pageviews a month, a high pagerank of 4- higher than many older blogs covering wider topics, loving feed and newsletter subscribers- about 400 at last count, frequently linked to by some prominent web properties abetted by my regular contributions to relevant and high standard online publications. Posts index lightning fast with search engines (Sometimes within minutes). Nominated as amongst the most insightful blogs within Singapore, the top three regions sending visitors on the site are South East Asia, USA and India. Contact me if you need any more details. All what is said above is bad SEO. But hey! Good prose supersedes bad SEO. Just like good conversation over whiskey.

Though the above text has mixed references to “I” and “We”- it is essentially run by Shalabh Pandey- more details on below mentioned social networking platforms. The reference to “We” pertains to an effort to make this a transparent exercise in collaboration and well, sometimes “I” sounds too narcissistic.
I am based out of Singapore, Asia/ASEAN. I currently work as Global Head of Media for a leading multinational full service Digital agency. However, all the content on this site is completely personal and all the ideas, concepts, ramblings expressed here are purely mine. They do not represent the thoughts/ideas/philosophy of the company I work for or any other company/entities I am associated with. Creating and marketing content is my passion. A bit more on my background (To clear the air, the blog is not just about Digital marketing. Just my profession is):
I have spent more than a decade in the advertising/media/marketing industry, and in my previous assignments have been Regional Director for Asia Pacific for Zenith Optimedia and as Managing Director at Havas Digital/Media Contacts. I have been lucky to be involved with setting up some ground breaking companies and be a part of some incredible advertising and marketing campaigns.
I have set up the Digital Marketing infrastructure of Fortune 500 companies and promoted brands like Incredible India globally. Apart from this, I am active digital marketing maven- and continue to participate in many global events involving the Digital domain.
Again, to clear the air, this site is not just about Digital marketing. Just my profession is. This site covers my thoughts and ideas. Some of which may change with time. Of course, the ideas are only mine and not with any brand or company that I might be involved with.
